Description
This fish trowel with engraved spoon belongs to the "Filet droit" model, and was designed in the 1880s. This piece is an example of the over-specialization of cutlery during the 19th century. Having a piece for every dish and every occasion was a mark of sophistication and opulence.

Maintenance
In order to preserve the beauty of your VINTAGE piece, we recommend that you maintain it with a Christofle product: the silver flash from time to time and the polishing gloves for regular maintenance. For maintenance with the polishing gloves: take off your jewelry and wipe the glove over the entire piece to restore its shine. For maintenance with the silver flash, refer to the product's instructions. Beforehand, be sure to remove the piece from its antioxidant pouch. This pouch is lined with antioxidant fabric to protect your piece from oxidation.
