Launched in 2022, the Malmaison Impériale collection has been extended with new pieces. A contemporary variation on Christofle's iconic Malmaison collection, Malmaison Impériale is inspired by the decorative codes of the Empire style used in the first collection, reinterpreting them into graphic motifs available in gold or platinium finish.

Malmaison is the Empire model par excellence, named after the castle that was the favorite vacation spot of Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte and Empress Josephine. ​

 

The empire style was flourishing in France between 1800 and 1820 designed by the architects Percier and Fontaine at the request of the Emperor Napoleon.
